For cats and very small dogs, we select aged, hard branches and peel the bark to create these toys.

Unlike other products, we do not hollow out, shave, or scrape the wood, so we have received many happy comments about the hardness and how much dogs take to them ?

Size: Approximately 15.6 cm x 1.5-1.8 cm width
Including small branches: Approximately 1.6, 1.9, 1.9, 2.2 cm
As these are very thin, they are suitable for very small dogs around 1.5 kg. Please refer to the pink photos for size selection.
Please note that measurements are taken by an amateur and may have errors.

Please consider the size in consultation with your dog, taking into account their mouth size, the size of their current toys, and their chewing strength.
If the size is correct, they can last for over a month ?
Other commercially available branches also seem to last about a month, but for teething puppies and strong-chewing Japanese dogs, a slightly thicker size that they can barely get their mouths around will allow them to enjoy it for longer.

Pear wood branches are less likely to have thorns sticking out, and the wood chips after chewing crumble like cork, so even if swallowed, they are harmless as they are from fruit trees.

These branches are from pear trees grown in Niigata Prefecture. The bark is peeled one by one, and the branches are dried for two years.

As these are amateur handmade items, while the branches are cut with a chainsaw and the small branches are sanded with a belt sander (file), please understand that there may be missed spots or cracks/splits due to excessive drying.
As it is wood, it will not damage teeth, and if you choose the size carefully, there is no risk of injuring the inside of the mouth. However, please ensure that your dog plays with it within your sight.
Please refrain from use if your dog has fruit tree allergies.
