Artist's Work: Gory, 2 Wooden Peg Dolls, and Rocking Horse Set
299.00 $
Description
A set of a Doll riding a wooden horse and two ballerinas.
This is a vintage-style artist Doll set. The Golliwog has a head made of leather. The two wooden peg dolls and the rocking horse appear to be by different artists. It seems to be a reproduction of illustrations by Florence Kate Upton, the author of Golliwog. Imported from TEDDY BEAR EMPORIUM in the UK over 30 years ago. The leather face is striking. I believe I ordered it after seeing an article in Teddy Bear Times. The suggested retail price at the time was 128,000 yen.
This is an old item, so please consider it with that in mind.
