Handcrafted Bamboo Fly Rod

7ft, Line 4-5, Equal length 2-piece bamboo fly rod, 2 tips.
Likely made by a custom builder, possibly an Orvis model?
Not a floppy rod, it has a semi-fast action with backbone in the butt, making it easy to cast even for beginners.
No noticeable scratches externally, likely unused, but both tips have a slight warp.
Tip I has a very slight curve opposite the guides.
Tip II has a slight rightward curve when the guides are facing up.
The finish is somewhat rough, with varnish overflow on the guide threads.
The joints are stiff when inserted about 17mm deep, but they fit snugly and without play when inserted about three-quarters of the way.
They make a satisfying picon sound when removed.
No scratches that would lead to breakage.
Very slight reel seat wear marks and very slight scuffs on the end cap.
Comes with a rod bag and extra tip.
Will be shipped protected in a case.
2 tips, excellent condition.
