Okinawa Sanshin LL Extra Large Size Bachi Ceramic
14.39 $
Description
This is a larger shamisen pick than those commonly found. It has a decent weight, making it ideal for genres like traditional folk songs and sad ballads, where resonance and the aesthetic of wabi-sabi are appealing.
I haven't seen anything like it before, so I believe this is a rare item that may have been custom-made or sold only at specific stores.
It has a slim width but a unique long shape.
Given the traces of molding on the body, it's likely manufactured using a method like integral molding, possibly from ceramic.
It has been cleaned for this listing.
The color is a matte off-white.
Finger hole diameter: 1.7cm (for male fingers)
Total length: 8.5cm (equivalent to LL size water buffalo horn)
Material: Resin or ceramic (presumed to be ceramic)
Weight: 38g
