This is a custom-made Sakura (cherry blossom) ito-maki (string winder) with a clear black gradation, kan-bari (lacquer inlay), and ebony joint.
As it is new, it can be attached to a shamisen after being carved to fit.

How about for hosozawa (thin neck) to chuuzawa (medium neck) shamisen, wagokyu (Japanese cello), sanshin, etc.?
This is the price due to the labor cost for the joint...
