Shamisen - Hosozai (thin neck) - Tochibeni-ki (red sandalwood) - Komochi Ayasugi-do (fishbone pattern, cypress body) - Kin-za (gold inlay) - Nihon-mizo (double groove)
This was used by my mother. I'm not knowledgeable about this item, so I've researched and included the necessary images to the best of my ability. If there are any other images you would like to see, please feel free to comment, and I will do my best to provide them.
Total length: 97cm
Shaft length: 63cm
Shaft width: 26mm
Regarding the condition, there are tears in the skin and cracks at the tip of the tenjin (upper part of the instrument).
*These are shown in images 17 and 18.
There is also a white, stain-like substance on the back of the tenjin.
*This can be confirmed in image 17.
There were no cracks, splits, or loose joints in the shaft.
I checked for warping from various angles, and it did not appear to be warped or bent.
I also checked for any unevenness in the shaft by touch, as it was not visually apparent. If you touch it carefully, there might be some slight indentations, but it's barely noticeable (feeling like a few millimeters at most).
The case has a lock, but I cannot find the key, so it cannot be locked. There are also some stains and dirt in various places.
Everything shown in the images is included.
I can only upload two more images, but if you have any requests, I will upload images of the areas you want to see, so please don't hesitate to ask.
