This is a shamisen rain cover (for covering a folk song semi-hard case that can be carried on your back).
The fabric is a calm and very beautiful umbrella material with a subtle plaid pattern on a navy background, which has a sheen depending on the angle.
It is not completely waterproof, but water-repellent.
It comes with a small pouch made of the same fabric for storage, so if you keep it in your shamisen case, you can have peace of mind for lessons or recitals on rainy days.
It has been well-received for its convenience.
This rain cover has elastic around the edges, like a backpack cover, and is placed over your existing case. It can only be used with cases that are carried on your back.
It cannot be used with horizontal hard cases, and we do not make those types.
