【Medium-Sized Neck】 Shamisen Body Set with Hard Case - As-Is Condition

【Product Description】

This is a complete shamisen set.
It comes with a hard case, making it convenient for storage and transport.

We do not have specialized knowledge of shamisen,
so we cannot determine the material, age, school, or detailed specifications.
The following information is based on external appearance and measurements.
Please examine the images carefully and purchase only if you understand the contents.

The neck is approximately 2.7cm thick, classifying it as a medium-sized neck.
This is a common size for folk shamisen and is often used for practice or as a beginner instrument.

The wood of the body appears to be rosewood based on its color and grain, but this cannot be confirmed.
The overall appearance of the wood is as shown in the photos.

The skin appears to be genuine (dog skin) based on its appearance, but this is also not certain.
There is yellowing and dirt due to age,
and repair marks and damage can be seen on the surface (see photos).
Please consider it as needing re-skinning or use it with an understanding of its current condition.

There is a chip on the tip of the neck.
This may affect playing or use, so please be sure to check the condition in the images.

The paper inside the body has the notation Jiuta 2,
but this is likely a management or classification mark rather than a model number or song title.

This shamisen does not come with a Higashi Sawari (a type of buzzing mechanism).
