Description
Thank you for looking.
This is a Tsugaru shamisen made of red sandalwood with high-quality ito-maki (tuning pegs).
The neck width at the fingerboard below the nyubuku (chin rest area) is approximately 3cm (issun), and the dou (body) is a maru-uchi dou (round-shaped body) of go-bu dai (half-size).
The ito-maki are likely habu (8/10 scale).
There are no chips or scratches on the tenjin (headstock).
The neck and body have a glossy finish.
One of the metal fittings on the hard case is broken.
The nakazao (middle section of the neck) and shita-zao (lower section of the neck) do not separate, so they may be glued together. (I have not tried to force them apart.)
