Description

We are considering a slight price increase before summer.
If you are considering purchasing, please do so before the price increase!!

This is an original koma (bridge) for the kokyu (a three-stringed Japanese fiddle) from Owara Kaze no Bon in Yatsuo, Toyama Prefecture, famous for the Etchu Owara Bushi folk song. (It can also be used for kokyu of other genres.)
(Special trial price / One-of-a-kind item)

Commercially available koma are mostly thick to maintain strength, but this is an extremely thin, high-sound koma.
It also has a feature on the back to prevent cracking, significantly reducing the risk of the koma breaking during attachment and removal.

It has a polished finish and is sparkling clean! ⭐︎

Furthermore, while commercially available kokyu koma are made from a single piece of bamboo, this koma is luxuriously crafted from solid wood of 3000-year-old, top-grade Yakusugi Oil Tree, a rare and difficult-to-obtain material.
Unlike general Yakusugi, the grain is fine!!
Please check images 4 and 5 for the luxurious appearance when attached.

As this koma requires a lot of effort to make, the next arrival is undecided!
First come, first served!

*This listing is for the koma only.
