This is a set of two soft shackles handmade from U.S. SAMSON ROPE's AMSTEEL SILVER 7/64in (Dyneema rope 2.5mm) with a breaking strength of 730kg.
Use them in conjunction with whoopie slings and tree huggers as a replacement for carabiners when setting up hammocks, or as a substitute for shackles on yachts and boats. (Achieves flexibility and weight reduction.)
Total length approx. 21cm, diameter approx. 6cm, weight 3.7g/piece.
A product crafted with attention to the finishing of the rope ends.
Due to the nature of the rope, it may become softer or fade with use. However, this rope has less color fading and transfer compared to equivalent products from other manufacturers, and has a good feel. It also boasts a 20% increase in strength. Please give it a try.
