The Ghost is designed for riding hollow, powerful waves and is ideal for reef breaks and shallow, dumping beach breaks, but it also performs well on long point waves. The Ghost is based on the Short Cut, and its outline features a wide point with a slight forward projection in the center, but the width in the nose area is controlled to fit tight turns. The front half of the rocker is medium/low to allow for easy paddling and quick acceleration. Sufficient curve is added to the tail for good control and responsiveness. A single concave runs through the entire bottom, and a double concave is incorporated inside for easy and responsive control and acceleration. The Ghost is the perfect board for a trip, and you can consider it the only board you need for a surf trip to ride hollow, good waves. We recommend ordering it your height or up to 6 inches longer, slightly wider than your usual shortboard, and 1/8 to 1/4 inch thicker.
