Description
This is a used ONKYO Integra A-917F integrated amplifier.
The following work has been performed since it was purchased used:
- Relay disassembled and cleaned
- Input selector switch disassembled and cleaned
- REC selector unit disassembled and cleaned
- Source Direct switch disassembled and cleaned
- MM/MC cartridge switching switch disassembled and cleaned
- Balance volume disassembled and cleaned
- All rear terminals and some soldering points repaired
- Push switches and volume controls lightly cleaned
- Rear panel terminals lightly polished
- Internal and external cleaning, etc.
The following operations have been confirmed:
- Sound output confirmed from all input terminals: CD, TUNER, PHONO, DAT, TAPE 1/2, AUX 1/2
- Sound output confirmed from speaker terminals A/B
- BASS/TREBLE/BALANCE volume controls confirmed
- DIRECT/TONE switching and CARTRIDGE switch functions confirmed
- ATTENUATOR switch and MODE switch functions confirmed
- Sound output confirmed from PHONES terminal
- Operation confirmed via remote control (remote control is not included)
*REC function has not been confirmed
*PHONO confirmed with both MM and MC cartridges
The only accessory is a copy of the A-917 (functionally almost identical to the 917F) instruction manual.
The chassis has few scratches and is in very good condition.
The unit has been internally and externally cleaned as part of the maintenance, so you should be able to use it with satisfaction.
While it is in beautiful condition, please consider that it is a used item from its era and understand this before purchasing.
