FMW Piton Clamp Mount & Base Rod Holder

New FMW Piton Clamp Mount & Base.
This is a fitting used to secure the butt of your fishing rod with a one-touch clamp.
By slightly widening the clearance under the shaft, the one-touch clamp will not interfere with the main body even when the rod is raised to approximately 80 degrees, allowing for excellent maneuverability.
It can generally be used with a single anchor, but if the installation location is a weak rock type such as sandstone, double anchoring will provide a stronger hold. (When installing with only one hole, please use the smaller hole.)
The base is threaded, allowing for slight height adjustment. While the adjustment range is not large, you can raise or lower the rod tip to some extent by slightly moving the rod butt up or down.
*Caution: Even when raising the rod, always ensure it is screwed in at least 8 turns. Insufficient screwing can lead to detachment.
*Piton clamp is not included.

■About the Material
Made from super duralumin, a lightweight and high-strength material also used in aircraft.
Its specific gravity is 2.8g/cm3, less than half that of stainless steel (7.93g/cm3), making it lightweight. Furthermore, its tensile strength is approximately 570N/mm2, higher than stainless steel's approximately 520N/mm2.
Each piece is machined from raw material, which inevitably increases the cost, but the absence of welds reduces the risk of breakage.
