I build amplifier cabinets and speaker cabinets in my spare time from my main work of furniture making.

I've carefully crafted these general-purpose speaker cabinets in my limited free time.

I selected SPF lumber with few knots for the main body and used high-quality birch plywood for the back panel.

Back panel: Birch plywood (15mm thick)
Grille cloth: Antique Silver
Baffle board: MDF (12mm thick)
Speaker mounting screws: (4-point mounting, 5x20 truss head small screws included)
Speaker mounting hole pitch: (296mm)
Wiring: Switchcraft #11 mono phone jack, insulated washer with shoulder, plastic insulated washer, jack plate (may have minor scuffs even when new), BELDEN 9497, Faston terminals (Audio Technica TL205M, 5.2mm male side), Kester44 solder used
Rubber feet: Commercially available
Finish: Oil stain (Mahogany color), urethane sanding sealer base coat, urethane semi-flat top coat

I've put a lot of effort into making this a solid build, which also affects its sound.

I hope you enjoy using this cabinet as a base, experimenting with adding sound-absorbing materials, or changing the speakers and wiring to find your preferred tone.

The wood grain is continuous as the panels are assembled sequentially from a single board.

The older growth rings (which were on the outside of the tree) are positioned on the outside of the cabinet, just as they were when the tree was alive.

The main body is joined using half-blind dovetail joints.

I strive to build with care, but please judge from the photos regarding any scratches, dents, warping, chips, cracks, uneven coloring, finish inconsistencies, or speaker mounting marks that may have occurred during the manufacturing process.
