This is the GUNFIGHTER Stock Assembly-Mod 0 buttstock from the American custom rifle manufacturer BCM (Bravo Company Manufacturing). Unlike the Taiwanese-made BCM AIR product (※Engraving: DESIGN IN USA), this is a genuine BCM product with MADE IN USA engraving.
This lightweight and highly durable polymer stock was developed and tested for over a year by BCM's GUNFIGHTERS, including Larry Vickers. Its design, with thoroughly rounded edges, minimizes snagging on slings, MOLLE gear, and clothing.
The latch system for securing the stock position has a unique shape (U.S. Patent No. 9,109,855), different from the traditional round pin of M4 stocks. By wrapping around and lifting the bottom of the buffer tube, impact is dispersed throughout the stock, significantly improving its resistance to twisting. To adjust the length, firmly grip the bottom of the stock to move the lever, allowing for length adjustment similar to a standard M4 stock.
The cam-shaped tab located behind the lever is called the VBOST (Vehicle Borne Operations Sling Tab). This groove can be used to hook elastic bands or bungee cords, allowing the sling to be secured when not in use.
It features ambidextrous QD swivel sockets as well as loops for band-type slings, making it usable regardless of dominant hand or sling type. The buttplate is made of thick rubber, effectively reducing the burden on the shoulder.
