Asakusa Nakamise Ginkado Decorative Folding Fan, Fujin Raijin (Green/Gold)

This is a decorative fan made by Ginkado, a long-established shop in Asakusa Nakamise.
It was purchased several decades ago and has been stored at home for a long time.
Ginkado has since changed its business to a sweets shop, making their traditional Japanese accessories difficult to obtain.

■ Design
The front features the iconic motifs of Japanese art, Fujin and Raijin (Wind God and Thunder God), depicted in luxurious gold leaf on a subdued green background. The design is powerful and dynamic, making it a statement piece that complements not only Japanese-style rooms but also modern interiors.

■ Product Condition
As this item has been stored for a long time, there may be changes in texture due to age, and the white paper on the back may show characteristics of Japanese paper (slight discoloration, etc.).
While there are no noticeable chips or stickiness on the gold leaf on the front, please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for a perfect condition, as this is a personal inspection.
There is no original box or accessories.
We ask that only those who understand and appreciate the character of antique and vintage items due to their age make a purchase.
■ Size (approximate)
Height: 17.4 cm
Width (when fully opened): 43.5 cm

■ Shipping
As there is no box, the item will be carefully protected with cushioning material (bubble wrap) and shipped with measures against bending and moisture.
