Living National Treasure, 3rd Generation Yasokichi Tokuda, Hekimeiyosai Mizusashi (Water Jar), Kinmei, Tea Ceremony Utensil [With Original Box, Original Cloth, and Booklet]

For Hikari-sama only.
This is a masterpiece by the Living National Treasure, Yasokichi Tokuda III.
Purchased from a dealer in Kaga during the artist's lifetime.

It is a refined, top-quality piece that emits a beautiful and highly attractive radiance. The vibrant gradation is exquisite, and the glaze firing is perfect. There are no scratches, and the condition is excellent.
Yasokichi Tokuda III breathed new life into the history of Kutani ware with his techniques of Saiyu (colored glaze) and Yosai (radiant glaze). The harmoniously blended glazes create a mystical and sublime work of art. Works by the third generation are becoming increasingly difficult to obtain. While a few pieces by the fourth generation are exhibited, they are quite expensive.
