VTG Asian Silk Embroidery Framed Floral Bird Art Blue Silk Textile Wall Decor

The embroidered center is surrounded by multiple decorative textile borders, including an intricate geometric patterned fabric, rust-toned velvet matting, and gold-tone inner trim. The layered framing gives this piece wonderful depth and a collected, old-world look. The embroidery features flowering branches, long leaves and a small bird worked in soft shades of pink, rust, cream, green and brown. Approximate overall size: • 15 tall • 13 wide Please see measurement photos for additional reference. CONDITION: Vintage pre-owned condition. The textile artwork displays beautifully. The outer wooden frame has considerable age-related cosmetic wear, including scratches, scuffs and areas of finish loss, particularly along the edges. The frame could certainly be refinished or replaced if desired, but I have chosen to leave the piece in its original/as-found presentation. Please review all photos carefully as they are an important part of the condition description. A beautiful piece for a collected traditional interior, eclectic gallery wall, chinoiserie-inspired room, grandmillennial decor, or vintage textile collection.
