Description
This is an Akebono Natsume (tea caddy) made by Sōtetsu Nakamura, one of the Senke Jisshoku (Ten Craftsmen of the Sen Family), designed by Gen'ensai. It is a magnificent piece with a beautiful scene. There is a needle inscription on the bottom. It also bears the seal of Tantansai, the 14th generation of Urasenke.
Size: Approximately 6.5 cm in diameter x 8.5 cm in height.
