This is a large natsume featuring a brushstroke seigaiha (blue wave) pattern on a black background. The body is decorated with a gold maki-e (lacquer inlay) painting of a shiogama (salt cauldron) landscape. The interior has a silver-toned finish, and the underside of the lid is also adorned with decorative elements.
