This is an Iwami Kagura mask passed down from my aunt who lives in western Shimane Prefecture.
The back is inscribed with Made by Satoru Ogawa and 1975.9.21. Over 40 years have passed since its creation, but it is in good condition.
It was displayed at the entrance, so there is some dust, but it has been carefully cleaned without causing any damage.
It appears to be made of Japanese paper, is very light, and is suitable for wall hanging.
