Description
This Kagura mask was handmade by my uncle as a hobby about 30 years ago. (Made with about 10 layers of Japanese paper, coated with persimmon tannin.)
It has never been used, but was displayed as interior decoration.
As it is an old mask, there are some cracks, peeling, and dirt.
There is also fading of color (gloss) due to age.
Unevenness in the base putty can also be seen.
