Nagasawa Ujishun Noh Mask Kagura Mask Omen Kyogen Mask Noh Stage Living National Treasure
165.00 $
Description
This is a Komai mask, a reproduction by Ujishige Nagasawa of a mask passed down through the Owari Tokugawa family.
The item was purchased by my father in 1998, so there is a handwritten inscription in ink on the bottom of the box and the price is written on the inside of the lid.
It was displayed leaning against a side shelf next to the tokonoma for about 10 years (see the 7th image), and has since been kept in its original box, but there is overall discoloration and scuffing around the right eyebrow.
Length approx. 21cm, width approx. 13.5cm, height approx. 6cm.
Please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about the inscription, etc.
Please refrain from negotiating the price.
Thank you for viewing.
