Description
This is a very auspicious wall decoration that combines Chinese knots (Asian knots) with Cloisonné enamel (Jingtai Lan / Enamelware). It is very beautiful.
I have kept it as part of my collection, unused.
There are no noticeable scratches, but please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned as it is an old item.
Please check the photos.
Size: Total length from top to bottom: approx. 110cm
Metal disc part only: 14 x 14cm
The central disc is made of Jingtai Lan, a traditional Chinese cloisonné enamel. It is a craft where colorful glass-like glaze is fired onto a metal base.
The surrounding is adorned with Chinese knots, intricately woven with red cords.
It depicts Mandarin Ducks, symbolizing marital harmony, and lotus flowers, representing purity and nobility.
This is an interior decoration item that can be enjoyed as a celebratory gift or as a lucky charm hung on the wall.
