▶ Nambu Bunshudo
Founded in 1817 (Bunka 14), a long-established manufacturer and wholesaler of traditional Nambu ironware in Mizusawa, Oshu City, Iwate Prefecture. Particularly famous for its Arare pattern iron teapots.◀

Long-term storage item from a relative's home.
The inside of the teapot is clean, except for what appear to be scuff marks on the tea strainer. While there are no major noticeable flaws overall, there are some areas that show signs of age-related rust or use (photos 9, 10, 11), so it may have been used a little in the past.
We hope you will enjoy it not only as a teapot but also as a piece of Japanese modern interior decor.
We would be delighted if you could utilize this traditional, high-quality item for various purposes.
We look forward to transactions with those who understand that this is a long-term stored item for home use and do not mind minor details.
Thank you.
