【Medium Size】Cast Iron Kettle, Nambu Tekki, Shojudo, Ararimon Pattern, Antique, 1.8L

This is a cast iron kettle in good condition. There is some rust on the lid. The interior is unused and shows no noticeable rust.

You can use it as is, but we recommend boiling water and replacing it several times before regular use.

When using, hold the base of the handle and use your other hand to hold the lid so it doesn't fall off. Both the handle and the lid will get hot, so use potholders for both.

Water boiled in a cast iron kettle tastes delicious.

This is a good size for a family of 2-3 people.

To care for it, do not leave water inside. To prevent rust, lightly dry-heat it to evaporate moisture. Avoid strong dry-heating. Steam will remain on the underside of the lid, so wipe it off with a cloth.
