VTG Sunbonnet Sue Baby Lap Quilt Hand Sewn Purple Pastel 35x53 Damaged Cutter
Handmade
75.00 $
Description
Vintage Sunbonnet Sue Baby Lap Quilt. Purple and Cream with 15 Sunbonnet Sue appliqués in pastel colors. Such cute, kitschy patterns with ric-rac trim detail. Adorable! Actual age unknown, but was acquired as part of a lot of quilts signed and dated from the 1920s and 1930s out of Texas. This quilt has a lot of damage, including tattering, small holes, exposed batting, wear on the blocks and appliqués, discoloration and staining. Most of the appliques are in good shape, some show wear, mostly fading or staining. The quilt has a vintage storage smell as it’s been stored for years and years. Perfect for use as a cutter and upcycling into other projects. **PLEASE NOTE: Due to different laundering and detergent preferences, I have not washed this quilt and will leave the cleaning up to the new owner.** Quilt measures approx 35 x 53 Other vintage quilts available separately. ✨5 Star Seller!✨ Ships quickly from a smoke-free home.
