1947, Treasure of Stephen Foster, antique music book

Treasury of Stephen Foster is a vintage illustrated collection of music and historical notes published by Random House in 1946.  This music text book was straight from my grandmothers collection. The dust jacket is tattered, but the book itself is in good condition. It contains a huge variety of songs. Some look very cool, and some depict a sadder time in history. But, it may be a interesting gift for the music lover, teacher, or classic book collector.  Contributors: Features a foreword by Deems Taylor, historical notes by John Tasker Howard, and musical arrangements by Ray Lev and Dorothy Berliner Commins.
