This is a custom-made Irori (sunken hearth) table made nearly 20 years ago.
We enjoyed using it by placing charcoal in the hearth and grilling snacks and appetizers.
There are signs of age-related dirt and warping due to wood drying and shrinkage, such as loose dowels and tenons. Please understand this as the unique charm of an antique.
For those who can pick up directly in Sapporo city, the shipping fee (¥8,600) will be waived, and the price will be ¥5,000.
It is very heavy, so two men, including myself, will be needed to load it into a vehicle.
If shipping, please understand that the packaging will be simple to reduce the shipping size and cost.
