YAMAHA SD-955RG Snare Drum Vintage Black Famous Model

【Discontinued & Rare】YAMAHA SD-955RG Snare Drum
Made in Japan / 100% Birch Shell

This is the discontinued SD-955RG, a representative model from YAMAHA's golden era.
A completely Japanese-made snare produced in the early 1980s. It is no longer in production and is a rare item with limited market availability.

Features a 100% birch shell with an all-finish specification, including the interior.
Its appeal lies in the fast attack characteristic of birch and its solid mid-low range.
It is versatile for a wide range of genres, including rock, pop, jazz, and recording.

Equipped with one-piece lugs (high-tension lugs) for stable tuning.
This is a model in the lineage of YAMAHA's renowned drums that led to the later Recording Custom series.

The number of good condition units is decreasing year by year.
Recommended for those looking for a vintage YAMAHA or for collection purposes.
