Premier Artist Maple Snare Drum 4824 14x5.5, manufactured around 2000, used.

North American Maple 6-ply, 6mm
8-lug

Both top and bottom feature die-cast hoops (low-profile type).
*These hoops are shorter than standard hoops and have a beautifully curved design.

The exact official name of the shell color is unknown, but it is a bright and beautiful color, similar to honey maple.

The heads are Premier brand. Both the batter and resonant heads show signs of stick marks and dirt, but are still in usable condition.
The snare wires are the original 20-strand steel.
Both the heads and snare wires are rare and difficult to obtain today.

It has been carefully handled and is in very clean condition as shown in the photos.
Overall, it is in beautiful condition, but there are minor scratches and pitting, so it is not in new condition. Also, as it is an old item manufactured about 25 years ago, there is no guarantee of its longevity (one lug was previously damaged and has been replaced with a genuine, matching new lug kept as a spare).

*Please note that the gap between the hoop and the head is very narrow, making it quite tight to set the head onto the hoop.

*No accessories such as a case are included. Only the drum itself is for sale.
