Description
Umetaro Azechi - Plum Blossoms
I found another one while organizing my belongings, so I'm listing it.
This one is relatively cleaner, please judge from the photos.
It has the woodblock print signature U mark, but no other signature. It might be a trial print.
103mm x 108mm

My maternal grandfather was Jūtarō Nakajima. He published a woodblock print collection called New Tokyo Hundred Views through his print shop. Many print artists used to visit our house in Yoyogi around that time, including Shiko Munakata, Kōshirō Ōta, Umetaro Azechi, and others. I believe this is a work from that period. It was passed down to me from my aunt (my grandfather's daughter). There are no signatures or certificates of authenticity. My maternal and paternal families have mostly passed away, so there's no way to verify it. Thank you for your understanding.
ATTENTION!! There are scam sites and fake shopping sites that have copied the images and descriptions exactly. Please do not be deceived. I am only listing this on Mercari.
