Artist: Hiroshi Tomihari (富張 広司) - Born 1936, Woodblock Print Artist
Graduated from the Ibaraki University Faculty of Education, Department of Art. While working as an elementary school teacher, he began creating woodblock prints independently and exhibited in various international print exhibitions. In 1981, he retired from teaching to dedicate himself to his art. He opened the Tomihari Woodblock Print Museum in Oyama City. In 2003, he received the Yokoyama Taikan Award at the Ibaraki Prefecture Art Festival. Member of the Modern Art Association. Member of the Japan Artists Federation.
