Description

Artist: Toshio Hyodo (1927-2006)
- Technique: Woodblock print
- The Ushioni is a demon from the Nanyo region of Ehime Prefecture, believed to ward off evil and bring good luck.
The artist has depicted this demon in a charming and heartwarming manner.
With its comical and warm imagery, it also serves to dispel negative energy, making it a perfect fit for any space, such as entryways, living rooms, or Japanese-style rooms.
While not a nationally renowned artist, he was a popular and best-selling artist in his region.

The size is also quite suitable, and I believe this is a highly recommended piece.

Frame dimensions: 74.5 x 56 cm
Artwork dimensions: 54 x 43 cm
- Measurements are approximate.

Created in 1980, Edition 13/52

- The original box is missing, so we plan to have it professionally packed by a gallery acquaintance for shipping.
Considering its age, the condition is good.

This is a repeated price reduction.

This artwork was previously sold for over 50,000 yen.

I personally believe this is a wonderful piece.

Thank you for viewing.
