Yoshimura Kotaro Flower Serenade Silkscreen Signed Framed Late Showa Period

Kōtarō Yoshimura Flower Serenade
This is a silk screen print artwork.

It was displayed for a period, but there is no fading. It has been stored for many years inside a tea caddy lined with tin plate in a storage room. There are no scratches or scuffs, and I believe the condition is good.

This piece is by Kōtarō Yoshimura, known for his poetic expressions with flowers as the subject. It is a print that evokes soft colors and musical imagery, making it easy to incorporate into indoor spaces.

The technique is silk screen printing, and this is number 125 out of a limited edition of 800.
There is a signature (believed to be in pencil) Y KOTARO on the lower part of the image.

Kōtarō Yoshimura (Yoshimura Kōtarō) was a Japanese Western-style painter and printmaker who created many highly decorative works featuring flowers and female figures.
His works were exhibited mainly in department store art galleries and specialized galleries, and are cherished as representative interior art of the late Showa period.

Based on his style and distribution, this work is considered to be a silk screen print created in the late Showa period (around the late 1970s to 1980s).

・Artwork size: Approx. 26 × 18.5 cm
