High-Grade Custom Iai Sword (Replica)
This iaido sword is designed for beginner to intermediate practitioners.
Crafted in Seki City, Mino-saka, it boasts excellent balance.
The blade is made of lightweight sand-cast zinc alloy.
The hamon (temper line) features a straight pattern with subtle variations, appearing and disappearing with the play of light. It has a thin, double-layered hamon, and the blade is lightweight yet durable due to the sand-casting method.
The tang (nakago) is file-worked with a diagonal pattern (sujikai yasurime), and the tip of the tang is shaped like a sword tip (ken-gata), as is recreated in Mino-saka.
This is the same manufacturing method as a genuine sword's tang.
The fittings include a dragon motif (made of copper).
The tsuba (hand guard) is the popular Tsurumaru Sukashi (crane circle openwork) design.
There is no rattling in the tsuba or koiguchi (mouth of the scabbard).
This sword is suitable for iaido practice (beginner to intermediate), display, and cosplay.

Please note: Due to long-term storage by the previous owner, there are minor scuff marks on the saya (scabbard).
