Description
Wakizashi Replica Sword (Kanemoto Style) Hamon
For Iai practice (front sword), for display
This is a replica sword, but it features a Kanemoto-style (Nioiguchi-Togari) hamon, which can be seen in the Seki-ha Kanemoto school. The sword is well-crafted overall. The tsuba (guard) depicts a Rising Dragon over Mt. Fuji, symbolizing success.
The tsuka (handle) is wrapped in popular twisted leather, which is rare at this price. The fittings are a Dragon Ichi production.
There is no looseness at the tsuka-moto (base of the handle) or koiguchi (scabbard opening), and the hamon is impressive, making it suitable as a front sword for Iai practice. How about it for Iai, display, or cosplay?
