High-Grade Iai Sword [Munetsugu Daisho Koshirae]

Thank you very much for viewing.

I am starting to declutter my collection storage, so I have decided to list this item.

This is a high-quality iaito (replica sword) featuring an extremely thin blade, characteristic of Fujiwara Kanefusa, and a beautiful mother-of-pearl inlaid saya.

There are some minor nicks and scuffs on a part of the wakizashi blade, and some small scratches and scuffs on a part of the saya, but overall the condition is good.
(Please note that this is my personal opinion, so please examine the images carefully and make your own judgment.)

There is no significant looseness in its current state, but the mekugi position of the daito is slightly misaligned from the beginning (image 17).
Therefore, if you plan to use it for suburi (practice swings) or iaido training, please have it adjusted by a specialist before use as a precaution.

*Please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for an item in perfect condition, as there may be some minor storage wear due to age.

Thank you for your consideration.

*All swords in my possession are maintained with sword oil. Sword oil has a unique scent, so please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive to smells.
