This is a practice sword for iaido. It is not a real sword.

This item has been stored in a warehouse. There are some light scuffs on the saya of the long sword from storage, but they are not noticeable and the item is in beautiful condition. It has only been removed from the saya for inspection and has not been used for iaido practice. The construction is solid and it can be used without issue for iaido practice or performance. It has been many years since Japan Antique Gallery stopped selling iaido swords, and this is a beautiful item that may not be available again.

The characteristic of this Goro Nyudo Masamune made by Japan Antique Gallery is its excellent balance, making it light and easy to swing. It is particularly popular with beginners and intermediate practitioners, and its good construction ensures it can be used for a long time.
