Description
This is a Japanese-made Maxon bass EQ.
It functions properly. There is some scratchiness on the sliders, though not severe. It sometimes disappears when moved.
I had intended to replace the sliders someday but used it as is. I have replaced sliders on other effects pedals before, and as long as you confirm the size, it's not too difficult, and after replacement, there are no issues.
The body is made of metal, is sturdy, and sounds great. It's a good old Japanese product.
Even when used with a guitar, it can significantly clean up the low end and nicely boost the midrange.
The +/-15dB range is a plus.
