This is a Ball jar, manufactured by Ball Corporation, which was founded in America in 1858 and still sells many products today. It's amazing that the company has been around for nearly 170 years! ✨ This is one piece from my long-time collection, and I'd like to share it little by little with someone who will cherish it. ☘️〜

This is an antique Ball Jar #2 from over 100 years ago, and I believe the price is a great deal.

This is a manufacturer's deadstock item from Ball Corporation and is unused.
The cap fits snugly onto the bottle, so you can rest assured. It's only old!
Therefore, you can use it with peace of mind. ✨

✾ As this is an antique, the glass may have air bubbles, mold marks, and age-related scuffs and damage. The cap is also subject to the same.

If you compare it side-by-side with current products, you'll clearly see the charm of the past.
The muted color of the glass, the uneven thickness...
Current caps are made of soft aluminum? and tend to warp easily, but old caps are incredibly hard and sturdy.

Many items sold as antiques in Japan have caps and glass bottles from different manufacturers. This is evidence that the sturdy caps have been reused over the years, perhaps because the original bottles broke or were damaged during air transport.
This just goes to show how strong these caps are...

The macaroni shown in the photo was included as a reference display item from a buyer's show in America.
It has been over 25 years since I purchased it as an antique, but it has not attracted any moisture at all, which is a testament to the wonderful quality of Ball Corporation! ✨
