Hallstatt WBSE-1000 [Upright Bass]

This is a Hallstatt upright bass.
I bought it for fun but am now selling it as part of a decluttering effort.

Hallstatt is often recommended as an entry-level instrument due to its affordability, and I think it's quite good for the price. I also play the double bass, and I feel this instrument still gives you that fretless playing experience. Another common issue with instruments like this is the lack of a comfortable resting place for your hand on the body, but this instrument doesn't have that problem.

Regarding the sound, it's not bad considering the price. Of course, it doesn't compare to a real acoustic bass or a 300,000 yen YAMAHA, but it's perfectly usable for practicing at home or for casual jazz playing. I wanted a fretless sound, so I used this instrument once for a recording session, and the final result was quite good.

The armrest was faulty due to an initial defect, so it is not included. However, in my experience, it did not hinder playing.

It will be shipped with a fresh battery installed in the pickup, so it will be ready to use immediately.

It has barely been taken outside and appears to be in good condition. It's still a usable instrument, so please consider it.
