Takamine G Series Acoustic Bass (Junk Item)

Purchased and installed a soft piezo pickup.
Sound came out, but the tuner seems to be broken.

This is being sold as a junk item for repair purposes: a Takamine G Series acoustic-electric bass.

Reasons:
Bridge attached with bolts and nuts.
Truss rod is at its limit.
There are signs of repair on the top.

Anyway, it's a cool-looking bass, so I use it to show off.
I love the unique sound of acoustic-electric basses.

I purchased this from a professional, but it's a truly unfortunate bass.
From the time of purchase, there was a lifting bridge, swelling, and signs of repair on the top, but it was adjusted monthly at a shop.

The acoustic sound is quiet unless connected to an amplifier.

I couldn't find product information online, but I found it on an American website.
(I want a new one!)

How about using it for show or as a statement piece? I'd like to pass it on to a collector.
Will be shipped in a semi-hard case. (The external pickup shown in the photo is not included.)
