Wiring Harness Assembly for Series Wiring Jazz Bass - Upgrade

【Please note: The pickguard is not included.】

This is a series wiring assembly for Jazz Bass. Recommended for those who want to upgrade their current bass.

　　　　　       『Assembly Introduction』
【Pots】
Entry-level basses often have metric-sized holes in the pickguard. While CTS pots, known for their quality, are excellent, they are inch-sized and not compatible. Therefore, we've chosen Alpha pots, which are metric-sized and of good quality. They are 250kΩ, a suitable value for bass guitars, and will fit directly into your existing pickguard. This assembly uses full-size pots.
The push-pull pot is an ALPHA 250kΩ.

【Jack】
We are using a Japanese-made jack. It's of very high quality and we feel it's comparable to Switchcraft.

【Wiring】
The wiring material used is cloth wire, also found in Fender and other high-end guitars. It's quite stiff and durable, so there are no concerns about longevity.
*The cloth wire will be either skin-colored or yellow. We primarily use skin-colored, but it may occasionally be yellow. Please understand that this does not affect the functionality.

【Capacitor】
For the capacitor, we've chosen the popular and high-quality Orange Drop. Specs: 200v 0.047uf.
Even when the tone control is engaged, the sound maintains a clear fundamental tone without becoming muddy.

As you can see, we've put great care into the quality of this assembly. All components are brand new. Noise reduction grounding has been applied to all pots, resulting in significantly reduced noise. Feel free to use this for an easy upgrade.

　　　　         【What is Series Wiring?】
By pulling the TONE knob, you can achieve a humbucker tone. This expands your sound options to four: front pickup, rear pickup, mixed, and humbucker, making it very versatile.

Please refer to photos 3 and 4 for pickup wiring diagrams and pot dimensions.
Continuity has been tested. Ships via YuYu Mercari便 in an A4 size brown envelope.
If you are concerned about potential wiring issues, you can opt for YuYu Mercari便 Yu-Packet Plus for an additional 200 yen. We have already priced this as low as possible, so further discounts are not possible.
