UL backpacks are designed to be small, so when the season changes or the number of nights increases, you often have to cut down on what you want to bring. Buying a larger pack is one option, but it's overkill for trips with light loads. External Storage is based on the idea of adding capacity only when needed, while keeping your current pack.

Put your tent in last and take it out first.
You want to take out your tent as soon as you reach the campsite, and pack it away last when you break camp. If you put it inside your pack, you'll have to move all your other gear every time you take it out or put it in. By storing your tent in the External Storage Stuff Sack and attaching it to the outside of your pack, you can remove it from the outside without opening your pack. This reduces stress during setup and breakdown. Although it's a drawstring type, it has an inner flap, ensuring a certain level of water resistance even when attached externally.
The 7.5L capacity, which can hold a 2-person mountain tent and rain gear, is just the right size to keep everything related to the tent together.

Why are UDG's external bags seamless?
Under Dog Gear products are finished using bonded seams. Instead of sewing with thread, a special double-sided tape is sandwiched between the fabric and bonded together with heat and pressure. External use means the bag is easily exposed to rain. With no seams, there's no risk of water ingress through needle holes, and combined with the inner flap, it securely protects the contents.
The material is thick 1.43oz DCF. This thickness ensures it won't easily tear even in environments where it's rubbed against the outside of your pack or snagged by branches. It's MOLLE compatible and fits buckles up to approximately 5cm.
