This is a rare FERNANDES YB-70/YB-75, a YAZAWA model from the world-renowned Eikichi Yazawa collection.
It's a miracle piece that has maintained its beauty and excellent neck condition!
The body appears to be one piece with no visible joints.
The body shape, which makes it difficult to play while seated,
reflects Yazawa's aesthetic as a stage performer.
It has a jazz bass-like vibrato and an indescribably cool, direct sound.
The interplay with the amplifier controls is also enjoyable, making it a wonderful bass!
The controls are 2-volume, 1-tone. I believe it's a player's best.
