Antique Late 1800s Wire Rim Spectacles Original Case inscribed Dr. J. C. Mosshar

Late 19th century wire rim spectacles with oval lenses. Comes with the original hard case, purple velvet-lined interior, and inscribed Dr. J. C. Mosshart on the exterior.  The case has significant wear, fraying along the edges, and material loss on the outside. The spectacles themselves show age and minor wear throughout, as expected for something this old. The velvet lining inside the case is still intact.  Good display piece or prop for a period-accurate Victorian or Edwardian setting. The Mosshart inscription makes it a one-of-a-kind find for collector or antique enthusiast types.  The case is heavily warn but the spectacles are like new
