VTG Pair Iittala Finland Arkipelago Glass Candle Holders Timo Sarpaneva Ice MCM

Bring the breathtaking, organic beauty of Nordic nature into your home with this stunning vintage pair of Arkipelago clear art glass candle holders. Designed by the legendary glass master Timo Sarpaneva for Iittala (Finland) in the late 1970s, these heavy, structured block candlesticks are iconic representations of mid-century Scandinavian modern design. Crafted using a specialized multi-stage molding technique, the thick lead crystal perfectly mimics chunks of natural glacier ice, encasing beautifully suspended bubbles that catch and refract the candlelight spectacularly.
