Pair of Vintage 70s Wilton Armetale Pewter-Look Candlesticks- 9.2”- Made in USA
Wilton Armetale
Elevate your home decor with this striking pair of vintage 1970s Colonial-style baluster candlesticks. Crafted by the historic Wilton Armetale Brass Company in Columbia, Pennsylvania, these pieces perfectly capture the warm, rustic aesthetic of antique early American pewter without any of the high-maintenance upkeep. Each candlestick stands proudly at 9.2 inches tall and features a beautifully contoured, traditional baluster stem. Flip them over to find the authentic stamped hallmarks of American craftsmanship, including the iconic RWP (Ralph Wilton Products) circle logo, WILTON COLUMBIA PA, and the highly desirable USA stamp—dating this specific pair to the golden era of the Pennsylvania sand-casting foundry before production shifted overseas. Condition:Excellent vintage condition! These pieces feature a beautiful, even matte finish without tarnishing. Because they are vintage, micro surface marks are present, adding character and historical patina. They sit perfectly flat, stand completely straight, and are ready to display. Material & Care:These are cast from Wilton’s proprietary Armetale alloy—a specialized aluminum-based metal blend. Unlike traditional silver or pewter, Armetale is incredibly durable, entirely non-toxic, and resistant to tarnish and rust. To Clean: Simply wash by hand with mild dish soap and warm water, then dry with a soft towel. Any spots will wipe right off. never place Armetale in the dishwasher, it will permanently dull the finish.
